You, Me and Us.

Stumbling and falling in the mess that we cause

Rising from it and calling it living

Running around looking for answers

Though when found would we stop?

We drink we breathe

We cry when we bleed

But you do to me what he did to you

And so it goes

Till there’s no feelings to feel anymore.

Negative? Nah!  We label and toss away

But appreciative and grateful you will be

And when your eyes water

At least your heart knows to smile.

The right and the wrong
The gleeful and the glum
Now that’s who we are!
